This is another example of a light painting. This aircraft was photographed at the Rockford Airport in Rockford Illinois. The final image was made by combining 48 different exposure taken over a period of time of about 3 hours. I;ll let you guess which one is the “before” photo and which is the “after”.
I enjoy photographing aircraft, automobiles, (classic or otherwise) collectables of any kind, and buildings.

Payton and I were having fun at his home. We were making for him some great senior portraits. With is mom looking on, one of the farm cats was interested in the action, but only intermittently. She popped in and out of the set, photobombing at will. Payton is a home school student and an accomplished archer, among other talents.

Johnny likes to build trucks and ride his motorcycle. An artistic rendering of him is shown here in this photograph created in an old brick factory. Johnny was a good sport as we had to deal with a lot of mud the day of this photo session.

Wes and Sandy Winn are winners! This couple had won a photo session with their new Harley Davidson Motorcycle. The session was done last spring in South Beloit, Illinois. The Beloit couple had bought their new bike at the Janesville shop and used the gift certificate they received with the purchase of their new Harley Davison Motorcycle.

Wow, nice car! Why not make it part of an updated family portrait? This was a fun session. I actually had to step over some very tall rows of soybeans to get some of these angles. Great people, but I couldn’t talk them into leaving the Camaro in my garage.

And this one is my personal favorite.
This little guy is going to make something of himself. He’s ready to take over the town. Just get through grade school first, and don’t forget to take care of your mom.

This little guy has a lot going on in his young life. This is Kyler, the son of Bri Hansen. Kyler seemed to know what we wanted him to do, but only did it when HE WANTED TO. Such is the way when photographing children. We love it though. Enjoy these composite images of Kyler.

As part of our Motorcycle photography display at our local Harley Davidson Dealership, we give out a motorcycle session. This year the prize went to this couple from Janesville, Wisconsin. They entered their chance to win at Kutter Harley Davidson, in Janesville. These are just a couple of the great photos made of Phillip and Sherley Toms.

Melissa loves to ride her motorcycle. But here in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, the weather forces her to put her Harley Davidson Motorcycle in storage for half the year. But she enjoys her passion twelve months a year.

These were almost an afterthought, but we noticed the golden light hitting the silo as the sun set.
The one above and the one below were kind of done as we thought we were finished, but I saw some things as we drove along. Val was a good sport to wrap up and unwrap for photos as it was a bit cold outside!
